Mid American Motorplex and Fuel Pump Death

Last month was a National  924 Meet. Too many 924 owners were there to list them all off but it was a nice day. A horrible sauna inside the car on the track, but it was very exciting. Not to mention my instructor took me out in his car and he drove like a damn maniac drifting around all the corners and speeding through it all.

After several times on the track, the Fuel Pump decided to die out on me, leaving me stranded on the side of the track. I was pulled back and we diagnosed that the Fuel Pump was shot. I ended up having to get a ride home, and had to leave the car there for the night.

In the morning Tom Cooper and Stan Hoppe went on over and installed a Fuel Pump that Tom had lying around. It was taken back to Stan's place, and then back to Tom's where I went and picked it up.

New Rear Drivers Side Brake Cylinder

The old one was leaking pretty bad, draining quite a bit of brake fluid. Tom Cooper and Stan Hoppe came down and helped install a brand new one. We then bled the brakes, and she turned out great!

Carpet Respray

Used COLORBONDS Carpet Re finisher and the carpet looks close to new!

Need New Alternator Bushings

The Current Alternator Brackets are going to shit, and new ones are not manufactured, nor is it easy at all to find any used alternator brackets. The brackets will need to be replaced soon before the Alternator decides to fall off!

Muffler Fixed

The Muffler ended up falling half off and dragging on my way back from Tom cooper's place. Had to stop in Fremont and Tom came to help me out and get it back on temporarily to get back home. I took it down to my local mechanic a few days later and they welded it back on, as well as the tip.

New Clutch Installed

In July, with the help of Tom Cooper, Stan Hoppe, and Don Hook from the 924board, a brand new Clutch was successfully installed!
